our project so far......quick update

So we recently decided who was going to do what specific parts of the class project and honestly i feel that we are in a great position to create something magical. I feel as though we should look at the development of the Hollins Market area, in a way it is able to tell the story of all of the building we researched. With this approach i believe we could really tell the story of the Hollins Market area by showing how much this area has changed through the eyes of the people who live in the area. Personally I would love to see that come together because it could show not just people outside of the Hollins area but the people who live there the history they are walking on everyday. I feel that the name of the project should be "The Progression of Hollins". I honestly believe that by showing how the Hollins area has progressed into the area that it is today because even though it isn't. Also we could take a historical approach to it by using the people/families that we all have researched so that we can provide an insight into the past of the neighborhood as a whole. When connecting areas with their histories it generates a certain pride in their neighborhood and has most people thinking, "wow, im standing in an area/building that helped my neighborhood become what it is today."
