Photos of the past.

Over the last week I have been searching for photos of the Hollins Market-Union square area and also have been looking for photos of the Eitemiller brothers. I also have been looking up to see if any more buildings in the area were ever in consideration to be national landmarks. When looking at this i found it somewhat difficult because i found the other applications by complete accident when researching but this time it has been difficult because i am trying to find that specific artifact when they are difficult to find. I also have been thinking about what types of photos should be taken for the other part of the project. mainly current photos of the local establishments and compare them to what the building locations were in the past. As I sit here and think about the project itself I'm still a bit confused about what specifically the end result is going to be. i find it a bit easier to know what the end goal is, which helps make it easier to complete. Also when working with the past committee  it seems as though one main issue we might run into is getting photos from the past that we can use, without copyright issues, at least for me it has been. But this is just the start and it will only get better.
