A review of AMST 422-my perspective

This semester I took AMST 422-Preserving places and I have to say it was a wonderful experience. Aside from meeting a small class full of wonderful people, I can say that I was challenged in intellectual ways that I would have never expected. I also feel that with the walking tour and the interviews we had to complete we were able to see a side of Baltimore that we never really get to see when we look on different forms of media. All in all preserving places has taught me to look at a places public history and try to see how the history of the neighborhood has progressed and changed over time.
